What is a Bernedoodle?

The bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain dog and a poodle. This hybrid blends the clever goofiness of the poodle, with the placid loyalty of the Bernese. On top of that, the bernedoodle is low to non-shedding, and is a safe bet for most people with allergies. The bernedoodle is the perfect companion dog. These dogs are meant to be at your side no matter whether you are hiking, snowshoeing, or lying on the couch watching a movie. Their only job is to be your best friend. No two bernedoodles are identical. The genes from the parent breeds meld in unique ways, and it’s endlessly fascinating to see what each litter produces.

Meet the Breeders

We Produce beautiful top-quality doodles. We consider all of our dogs’ family and put them first.

We are a small in-home breeder of doodles located in Mid-Michigan. We take pride in raising these beautiful dogs in our home and specialize in offering dogs with wonderful temperaments and great coats.

We started out breeding Labradors and then after owning our own Bernedoodle we fell in love with our girl and this breed. If you have never owned a doodle or have been around one, these dogs are one in a million. They are extremely smart, loyal, affectionate, love to play, and have very good temperaments which make for a perfect family pet.

All of our adults are health tested, great with children and other dogs, raised in our home as happy and well trained puppies prior to coming into their forever homes.

What is a Labradoodle?

The popular Labradoodle—a mixed breed of a Labrador Retriever and a Standard Poodle (Poodle are known for Hypoallergenic and Low to minimal shedding). Both breeds are also known for their affectionate nature. The smart, playful pups are excellent family dogs, but pet parents must be devoted to supplying their friends with the proper training, a moderate amount of daily exercise, a regular grooming schedule, and plenty of love. These teddy-bear-face beauties can weigh between 50-75 pounds and can be about 25 inches tall full-grown. They can thrive in homes of all sizes—as long as they’re given the right amount of daily exercise. Labradoodles are extremely friendly and loyal, making them wonderful family dogs. They are also easy to train and ideal for first-time pet parents seeking a companion with a big personality.

I highly recommend Marmeduke Doodles! We did our research on Bernedoodles and other doodle breeds and are so happy we found such a knowledgeable breeder. Kimberly understands the importance of the genetics of a mixed breed and really cares about the outcome of a healthy puppy.

We got a Standard Bernedoodle puppy from MarmeDuke Doodles for our daughter and we are so happy that she shares him with us! LOL. He is being trained to be a therapy/ comfort dog for her Special Ed students. When we got him, he was already very well acclimated to people, other dogs, children, noises, car rides, etc. and Kimberly worked on potty and crate training too! He is healthy, has a great demeanor, easily trainable, and very affectionate. We feel we hit the jackpot with Oakley! He is such a wonderful furry family member!
